After my house 2008 hurricane was destroyed in the season, I spent many months after life in lower rental service - my camper. I love my Camper expensive and under normal circumstances, I had never problems or questions. But you changed this during in it in the next 24 months after the hurricane. Happens at a time due to a number of problems I developed allergies. Worse, I had to know there is no way, which was allergen all of you seemed to the problem or trigger - at once to attack.
Due to my circumstances at the time, I have not tested any funds, get allergy or money for allergy treatments, could move quite yet not in an apartment. But I needed this problem in order to healthy life in the middle of all of the chaos to fix! As you say, necessity is the mother of invention, and this is so true! I came up with several innovative low ways of cost to keep allergy free my inner. With the implementation of these 5 allergy methods fighting within a few weeks waned my allergies to a manageable level.
1. Cleaning of the air
Indoor air can be filled with thousands of allergens, which cannot be seen; Dust, dust mites, pet dander (if you have pets), and dirt from outside.
The air must be cleansed these allergens, so that you will not be breathed in and constantly setting off histamine levels of the body.
Solution: Buy 20 X 20-box fan ($14.99 at Wal-Mart). Buy an air filter at least 1300 ($13.99 at Walmart) is evaluated. Connect the fan and place the filter on the back of the fan so that the air is sucked through the filter. Presto! An in expensive air filter system. I had set up 2 in the camper; 1 in the bedroom and one in the main area.
Make sure that the filter at least every month change.
Cost: $ 30.00
2. Reduce the humidity
Check the humidity in your indoor space. Humidity of 55-60% and more can promote mold and mold resistance. This is of course vorkommendes, especially if you live in a geographical area, which is vulnerable to moisture in any case and not to molds and mildew in your in living room.
Solution: I was lucky enough to have my dehumidifier out of the House, which has been lost. I the humidity 55% and let it do its work.
You have no external dehumidifier (your AC system has one internally already), you can find at Wal-Mart or equivalent store for under $100, if you are on a budget - also no bad investment for your health's sake.
Cost: $ 100.00
3. Vacuum with a HEPA filter
My Camper was carpeted. My preference is for tiles, laminate or vinyl flooring can be dusted off and leaks easily cleaned on a daily basis. Carpet, on the other hand considers allergens and very unhygienic.
Again I was happy, yet my Dyson vacuum with HEPA filter who I had in my house. For those who always asked if you are your price value, my assessment is Yes, absolutely! I was fortunate to find mine, in 2005 if I even more frequently at Sam's Club, and happened to find on sale. I have never regretted that investment. The HEPA filter system is available on almost every vacuum currently on the market, depending on what you have in your budget. The best pricing that I found was for Eureka or Dirt Devil smaller vacuums with HEPA filter, at Walmart for around $70.00. no bad investment for your health's sake.
Solution: Vacuum the carpeting in at least once a week with a vacuum, which is equipped with a HEPA filter. The only cost is your time, if you already have a HEPA VAC.
Cost: $ 70.00
4. Aluminium window
Single-paned window of aluminum can be a nightmare. You are not only horrible for energy efficiency, condensate every night as the air inside is warmer than the air outside. How does these allergies? If the water collects and sits on the Windows and the aluminum frame, mold can grow on these areas and allergy problems for those who are sensitive.
This is especially a problem if you curtains and curtains at the window (who doesn't?) and area can not dry out during the day, so stay in a wet state.
Solution: This solution is in 2 parts:
First, the Windows and frames all dirt, dust and mold must be cleaned. Clean with Clorox clean up or a solution of water and Cap full of bleach.
Secondly, the aluminum parts of the frame must be treated, making it more difficult for the mold/mildew to grow. The Lysol spray in the can has anti-fungal properties. Spray all parts of the aluminum frame and leave it on there. Let it dry. This will inhibit any further growth of mold/mildew. Repeat the cleaning and once in the month, if necessary.
Cost: $5 and your time.
5. Weather stripping doors
Pollutants are in the air - a modern fact that we can not escape. But we want you in our interior living room as possible. To ensure that pollutants have a harder time getting in, if the doors are closed, verify and/or change the weather stripping at the door, so that there is no light shows. This is not just to make more energy, more efficient, it will ensure that your indoor space cleaner is.
Solution: weather stripping is available at any hardware store; Lowe's, Home Depot or Wal-Mart
Cost: $$ 5 to 25 and your time to install
These methods miracle worked for my allergies, if I was in the camper. I've implemented since then moved into an apartment and I the same strategies again with similar results. Of course there are many other allergies, the fight against of the products & technologies such as UV systems and ozone machines, and reportedly, work great. Its only downfall is that you with a significant cost of $1000 and to come!
Worst case scenario, allergy fighting costs be provided on around $200.00 for the low-cost methods, requires a new vacuum and dehumidifiers. Allergy tests alone cost upwards of $350.00 and annual treatments are amazing, double this amount per year. Whether you currently of allergies or not suffer, you try to clean this low-cost strategies to the air that you breathe - your lungs will thank you!
