Scales and Keys

When you think about the particular method to study how to read music as comparable to that of the study of a language then scales/keys may very well be considered dialects - different versions which can be observed through a language. (Certains_détails_que_vous_devez_savoir_en_ce_qui_concerne_les_clés:_i) you will find 2 main different types of scale key - major and minor (major sounds happy, minor is likely to be unfortunate) a.II) there is a major and a minor scale for each note (which includes more flats sharps) - there are 12 major more 12 scales.iii minor) each scale has a unique range of sharps and flats. (Par_conséquent,_tout_temps_à_un_compositeur_est_une_pièce_ils_vont_décider_le_suivants:_i) that affects (or scale) to write it in.ii) or non-composed in major or minor (would be mainly vary on what mood they may want to bring) coyly) note on the scale to compose it on (unique notes were obtained of) unique sounds for them. p._ex. Bb Major is known as a relatively rich key, then F # Major is relatively bright in tone). In addition, they will want to take into account the range of the instrument they create for with the complexity of the piece (keys using a higher range of the sharps and flats are more likely to be more difficult to perform in). A special detail that will help make the whole process to learn to know how to read partitions of simpler music is the fact that every single major range has a minor scale by using the same key signature - it's like a brother and a sister. They are named the Relative main over the Relative minor. The fact that these keys use the same key signature makes it much easier to grasp. You may have noted a possible difficulty.... If I were to write a piece of music in major c# I could be using 7 sharps. This would suggest that I would have written the # sign anywhere in the page, and so it may seem very messy and really difficult to read. This problem is overcome by efficient use of key signatures. Understanding of key signatures is imperative if you learn to read music quickly and efficiently and to continue your journey as a musician.
