Blackheads can persist because the trapped sebum and bacteria drain out of the skin in a very slow manner.Blackheads can release their contents of sebum that was previously blocked and heal, or they may induce a rupture in the wall of the follicle causing inflammation of the skin.Inflammatory AcneA a breach in the wall of the follicle can cause inflammation of the beginning of the skin and the jump of the series of events that led to the formation of a bud scars.
