Diabetes and severe Complications of the nervous system

Chronic diabetes sufferers are likely to be affected by diabetic neuropathy. It occurs because of injuries to blood vessels that carry to the nerves. A number of associated diseases manifest also as paralysis and nervous disorders affecting also other systems of the body. It affects many nerves, controlling the various functions of the body. Consequently, functioning of other organs is also affected. This condition can cause a single condition or multiple disorders of various types in the system.
