The Great Western Trail: A Utopia for the electoral district of the mountain bike trail

The American West was based on the dreams and the pioneering spirit. "Go West young man!" is the battle cry of thousands of people looking for adventure and a new start. Over time, the route to the West had crisscrossed by dozens of trails and passages to reach the Pacific coast. Over time, these trails would become a means for business and leisure travel and transportation would be as varied as the people who have used the trails.

The same spirit lives today in the American West. People sitting around campfires still have dreams and the drive to see occur. A group of people is founder of the Great Western Trail. The GWT is not a way for a modern cattle drive, the Great Western Trail is an idea to the realization of a multi-use trail vehicle outdoors taking place of the Canada to the Mexico. The trail will not just for motorcycles and ATVS, the goal is to make the GWT available for hikers, horse riders, skiers, snowmobilers and many other outdoor enthusiasts.

Assemble a trail of this magnitude will take a lot of work and welfare. You can imagine all the precautions and planning which must be in place for these motorized and non-motorized trails to work together. Throughout the "trail" will very probably a collection of paths in parallel to each other. You can have a horse and ATV running on the same track without some obvious security issues. There are also parts motor vehicles can go, but would be a horse or a hiker.

The GWT began in 1985, and until now, there are several hundred kilometres in Utah and Arizona. As the Eastern and Western Railway in the West, the goal is to have North and South sections of the track meet in the Middle, filling a way of the Canada to the Mexico. Portions of the road are already created and when the entire track is finished it will cover a total of 4,455 miles through Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. A large part of this route is drawn on some of the most beautiful landscapes of United States has to offer. The landscape of the American West is quite beautiful car or in the back of a motorcycle, but riding by the bias of miles in the desert of Arizona or Utah astonishing rock formations on a mountain bike can be downright spectacular.

The GWT builders hope to use already existing trails and roads on the road. In so doing, it hits any new construction to be made. The Great Western Trail is also the use of a large part of the public lands along the way, especially the deep Earth in the Centre of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. The trail will also use a few such as Bitterroot National forests and salmon national forest and part follows the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Still other sections of the trail will be wind along the western part of the Yellowstone National Park.

Finally when the track is finished, you can spend a week or if the horse trail and the experience of a lifetime of riding ATV Trail.
