Is There a Type 3 Diabetes?
Diabetes is a metabolic disease that affects almost all part of the body and chronic complications accompaniment may have to be very dangerous. While diabetes is characterized as a disease with high blood glucose, it is not really simple. In reality, there are several variants of the disease. The more rare form is of type 1 diabetes and only 5% are affected by this form. This type of diabetes is characterized by the absence of the pancreatic hormone insulin. Only available and life - support treatment is the injection of insulin. This form of diabetes is also called juvenile diabetes because the age of onset is usually less than the age of twenty. It is an autoimmune disease because the immune system turns against me and destroys the insulin-producing cells. The second form of diabetes is called diabetes type 2 and is the most common form of diabetes. It is also called diabetes of maturity that this disease usually occurs after the age of 50. This form is usually characterized by a deficiency of insulin and is treated with oral hypoglycemic agents which act by stimulating insulin secretion. This form of diabetes is also easier to address to type 1. Yet another form of diabetes is called insulin-resistant diabetes and becomes gradually common. The main reason for this type of diabetes is obesity. Obesity, there is a drastic reduction in the number of receptors for insulin and therefore, insulin while present, is incapable of acting. These diabetic progress also of type 2 diabetes. Yet another form of diabetes is called gestational diabetes. This is encountered among pregnant women and is usually transient in nature.Another form of diabetes was discovered in the year 2005. This has been called type 3 diabetes. It has also been called by several other names. These other names are "double diabetes", "hybrid diabetes" and "the type 1.5 diabetes." It was discovered that the brain can also produce insulin. Type 3 diabetes is specific to the brain and step of things are known about it. Plaque formation is seen in the brain and is part of aging. It is believed that the formation of plaque reduces synthesis of insulin in the brain. Brain insulin has several functions. The major function of insulin is memories of synapses form and type 3 diabetes, suffers from this memory formation. It is believed that the plates which has accumulated destroy the insulin receptor. In this sense, the diabetes is similar to insulin resistant diabetes where it is also a decrease in the number of insulin receptors.Diabetes increases the risk of Alzheimer's by 65%. This neurodegenerative disease is feared by everyone because it deprives a person of his memories. It was suggested that type 3 diabetes is closely linked to the development of Alzheimer's disease. The brain produces its own cholesterol and the maximum amount of cholesterol found in the brain. In diabetes, the expression of the genes concerned with the synthesis of cholesterol is reduced. The deficiency of insulin in the brain that encountered in type 3 diabetes may be responsible for this decrease in cholesterol synthesis. Defective synthesis of cholesterol in the brain is supposed to be the factor behind several neurological problems such as eating disorders, memory impairment, depression, altered the sensation of pain and impairment of motor activity.
Is Bubbly Urine a Sign of Diabetes?
The way in which the urine looks or smells can give a person the indication if everything is alright with his health. Healthy and normal urine is clear in color or pale yellow, and has no odour. However, what happens when urine is sparkling and bubble? Means that there is something wrong with the person and he or she may suffer from diabetes?According to several studies, it is not necessary that the bubbly urine is a sign of diabetes. However, this kind of urine tends to increase the chances of someone being diagnosed with diabetes. Thus, bubbly urine may be due to diabetes, but not necessary to conclude that a person has diabetes simply because he or she spends sparkling and foamy urine that there are several causes for the formation of bubbles in the urine. Some of the causes for the bubbly urine are listed below: dehydration is one of the most frequent causes. When a person drinks not sufficient amounts of water, the body is unable to produce normal amounts of urine. This causes bubbles and thus urine as a result which is dark colored, will contain bubbles.Control the urge to urinate often leads to bubbles forming in the urine when the urine is passed. This occurs when urine is removed from the bladder with force after a time of person visiting the rest room.Urinary tract infections are common causes of bubbles forming in the urine. However, with bubbles, the person will also meet with pain or burning sensation in passing urine. These infections are better treated after consulting a specialist to avoid complications.Proteinuria is a cause more for the formation of bubbles in the urine. When the rates of protein in the urine are higher than normal, it is known as proteinuria. This condition occurs when the glomeruli suffer from inflammation or damage, and therefore, they cannot filter the protein. The urine of content high-protein reacts with the air being passed and this reaction causes bubbles to form. Therefore, having bubbles in the urine may be a sign of many ailments related to health and diabetes not only.
